The Myth of the Asexual Child in Namibia
The chapter will describe and discuss childhood sexuality in Namibia, acountry where little research has been conducted to understand the sexuality of children. The data presented here is based on research conductedprimarily in Kunene North. I will argue that although Namibian childrenare believed to be asexual beings, in many cultures they were allowed toexplore their sexuality through childhood games.
